Last year, Kampstaal carried out a special heavy transport assignment. Due to the length of the steel beams, Velas Jonker called on Kampstaal for support. In addition to the transport itself, Kampstaal also handled the production, cambering and coating of the beams.
The project involved seven beams, each 28 metres long, with a combined weight of 32 tonnes. Given their size, the transport was carried out in two runs. A standout project where craftsmanship, precision and tight coordination came together. The heavy transport was driven by our colleague Melissa, who completed the job safely and successfully.
